Mad magazine, Hola magazine in turmoil as editor resigns

Mad magazine is facing a new wave of pressure as its editor resigned amid allegations that the magazine was edited to support a pro-government party.

Mad magazine has not been without controversy.

In March, the publisher, George Stroumboulopoulos, was found guilty of “fraud, racketeering, and bribery” in a bribery case and fined $50,000.

The magazine’s former executive editor, James Siegel, was sentenced to seven years in prison in January.
